Each game is played to 11 points, win by 2. Serve underhanded and ensure at least one foot is behind the backline when serving.

  • 1. Respect the non-volley zone: No volleying is allowed within the 7-foot zone on both sides of the net.
  • 2. Double-bounce rule: After the serve, each team must play their first shot off the bounce. Meaning, that the receiving team cannot volley the serve, and the serving team cannot volley the return of the serve.

The server continues to serve, alternating service courts until they fault. Teams only score points when they serve.

Upon scoring a point, the server moves to the opposite serving court. If playing doubles, each player serves in turn and retains their serve until a fault occurs.
